BIMETAL plain bearing made of steel
with lead bronze gliding layer Radial (sleeve) bearings
D I M E N S I O N S   F O R

BIMETAL plain bearings consist of two layers, a carrier material made of steel and a sliding layer made of lead bronze CuPb10Sn5. This running surface can be supplied smooth or with lubrication pockets. A variant with machining allowance for the sliding layer is also available.
The BIMETAL plain bearing is well suited for larger elongations and load capacities. It can be used for loads as well as for oscillating movements in rough operation and temperature loads. It is mainly used in engine construction and heavy mechanical engineering.

Dimensions

All BIMETAL plain bearings are available in various
dimensions, similar to the rolled KU radial bearings.

– Rolled composite plain bearing steel/lead bronze
    with lubricant depots.
– Low maintenance
– DIN 1494 / ISO 3547

1) Sintered lead bronze
2) Steel back
