KX plain bearings with lead, ACETAL
or lead-free coating. DIN ISO 3547 Radial (sleeve) bearings, Axial (thrust) bearings
D I M E N S I O N S   F O R

1) POM (polyformaldehyde) with lead, 0.3~0.5mm
2) Porous Bronze, (CuSn8Zn3), 0.2 ~0.3mm
3) Steel back, (ST12, or DC01), 0.4 ~2.2mm
4) Copper or tin coating 0.005 ~0.008mm

The KX POM plain bearing with lead is made up of three firmly adhering layers. Steel as the carrier material, spherical sintered bronze as the intermediate layer and lead-containing POM (polyformaldehyde) as the sliding layer. This plain bearing is particularly suitable for oscillating and rotating movements, for rough operation and outdoors, as well as for high edge loads. In addition, KX POM plain bearings with lead have good damping properties and are relatively shock-resistant. Initial lubrication is absolutely necessary when installing. This plain bearing is widely used in car chassis, metallurgical forging machines and mining machines, in construction, power plants or in conveyor belts. KX POM plain bearings with lead do not absorb moisture and therefore remain dimensionally true.

Delivery forms

Standard parts such as plain bearings and discs

Installation tolerances for bushings

We recommend manufacturing the housing H7 and
the shaft h8.

Typical applications

Recommended for use with alternating loads

Mechanical engineering

Spindles in drilling, grinding and milling machines,
presses, etc.

Agricultural machinery

Gearboxes, clutches, bolt bearings for agricultural
machinery, etc.

Particularly suitable for applications where lubrication is not always continuous and regular.

– Rolled composite plain bearing steel/POM, with lubricant
   depots and lubrication hole
– Low maintenance
– DIN 1494 / ISO 3547

Plain bearings with machining allowance

At the customer's request, the KX plain bearings are manufactured with a machining allowance. After the plain bearings have been pressed in, the excess is lathed to the finished size in the correct position using appropriate lathing tools.

Characteristics

KX plain bearings do not absorb moisture. Therefore, they do not swell and remain dimensionally stable.

Dimensions

All KX plain bearings are available in various dimensions, similar to the KU plain bearings.

1) Acetal with red fiber, 0.3~0.5mm
2) Porous Bronze, 0.2~0.3mm
    (CuSn8Zn3: Sn<=8%; Zn<=3%;Cu=Balance)
3) Steel back, 0.4~2.2mm
4) Copper or tin coating 0.005 ~0.008mm

KX plain bearings ACETAL with copper-plated or tin-plated steel backing and multi-porous bronze layer. The running layer is made of acetal resin with lubrication pockets. This bushing can be used without lubricant. It has a low coefficient of friction, is corrosion-resistant and durable. KX plain bearings ACETAL are used in machines with oscillating movements and in open or corrosive environments such as in construction machines, tower cranes and printing or dyeing machines for textiles. KX plain bearings ACETAL do not absorb moisture and therefore remain dimensionally true.

The KX POM lead-free plain bearing was developed for environmental reasons and is therefore also suitable for applications in the food industry. These plain bearings are particularly suitable for oscillating and rotating movements, for less rough operation and outdoors, as well as for moderate edge loads. In addition, KX POM lead-free plain bearings also have good damping properties and are relatively shock-resistant. Initial lubrication is essential when installing. KX POM lead-free plain bearings do not absorb moisture and therefore remain dimensionally true.
