Tolerances – Calculations

Tolerances

Our main range are sintered plain bearings with standard tolerances E7/r7

We recommend manufacturing the housing H7
Shafts with h-tolerance are used

On request, sintered plain bearings with tolerances F7/r7 or G7/s7 can also be delivered at short notice.

Ask us, we will be happy to advise you!

Calculations

The permissible load capacity of the sintered plain bearings is calculated by multiplying the specific surface pressure and the sliding speed.

1 1 Zyl L

The maximum pv value of 1.6 should not be exceeded. It should be noted that higher speeds reduce the load capacity.

Depending on the nature of the shaft, installation method or heat dissipation, the service life of a sintered plain bearing can be influenced.

We will be happy to provide you with expert advice on calculations and assessments.

p = surface pressure (N/mm2)
v = circumferential speed (m/s)

This gives the pv value: p x v (N/mm2 x m/s)

Maximum load values during continuous running:

p =10 N/mm2
v=5 m/s
pv=1.6
